It is reported that Dunlop Equipment of Coventry, UK and Woodward Governor Company of Rockford II, USA, have signed a long-term agreement to collaborate in the design, development and supply of bleed air valves for aircraft engine and industrial control systems (Plate 1).

Dunlop Equipment produces a range of hydraulic and pneumatic control valves and is a leading company in the design and manufacture of bleed air controls for axial compressors and aero engines. Woodward Governor has a strong reputation in the design and manufacture of engine fuel delivery and engine control systems, sub-systems and components for aerospace, power generation, marine, process, gas transmission and on/off highway applications. The agreement covers all these markets, many of which have not previously had access to Dunlop Equipment's technology.
