Peter Truss has been appointed Aerospace Director at Systems Engineering & Assessment Ltd (also known as SEA).

Peter was formerly business development executive at SEA's aerospace directorate having joined the company from Matra Marconi Space.

A graduate in mechanical engineering and naval architecture, Peter started his career at Marconi Space and Defence Systems, followed by five years in Canada and the USA working on the Space Shuttle programme.

Peter has extensive experience in space markets and prior to joining SEA was head of business acquisition for Matra Marconi Space's earth observation and space science activities covering both military and civil programmes.
