Striking a new deal

Resource Aviation Management (RAM), the Aviation recruitment specialists reports that it has secured a two-year enabling agreement with the MoD to supply RAF strike command bases throughout the LTK and Europe with fully trained life support technicians.

We understand that the deal was secured after a rigorous competitive tendering process, thereby ensuring that RAM is now one of the MoD's preferred recruitment consultancies within this most exacting and specialist arena.

Geoff Thorpe, RAM's Business Manager, explained:

These technicians play an extremely important role in ensuring that each piece of life-saving equipment, whether they be oxygen masks or parachutes, are expertly prepared and ready for immediate use in the field of operation. Clearly there is no margin for error - lives literally depend on it - which is why we ensure that only candidates with the right mix of aptitude, application, skill and attention to detail are selected for such a key duty. This set of exacting criteria were applied - as they are with all our recruits - to our latest placements for the RAF in Oxfordshire.
