TransAer's latest additions

A maintenance support agreement for TransAer's two, factory new, Airbus A320s has been agreed between Ireland's leading Irish charter airline and FLS Aerospace. Following the signing of a letter of intent, the Dublin-based airline has now signed a five year contract for the supply of aircraft maintenance support services for the newest additions to its fleet, which now consists of eight A320 and six A300 aircraft. FLS Aerospace will perform all base maintenance checks and provide a full component support service for the new aircraft.

Both new aircraft are committed to operating leases on behalf of two European operators, based in Stockholm and Brussels. FLS Aerospace will support the aircraft on a 24-hour, seven-day per week, year-round basis. The support is backed by a multi-million pound, central stock-holding, located centrally at the FLS Aerospace London-Heathrow Component Distribution Centre.

FLS Aerospace has also recently signed a long-term contract with Sterling European Airlines who are based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The £8 million contract extends component support to: Sterling's existing fleet of Boeing 727 passenger aircraft; a Boeing 737-300 that started operation with Sterling in January; and four New Generation Boeing 737-800s, which are currently on order from the manufacturer.
