Gary Chater has been appointed applications engineer at Maywood Instruments, part of loadcell manufacturer and force measurement specialist Thames Side-Maywood Ltd (Plate 13). Gary gained extensive experience within the industry as technical support engineer at Thames Side. He now takes responsibility for Maywood's large portfolio of bespoke engineering projects. Gary said, "The new role will require constant contact with Maywood customers, analysing their particular force measurement problems and specifying individually tailored designs to meet their needs."
