The first FAA/JAA approved MOE manual
The FAA Frankfurt International Field Office (FAA FRA IFO) and the Registro Aeronautico Italiano (RAI-JAA full member authority) have jointly approved their first "conjoint" maintenance organisation exposition (MOE) for ACE Aeroplex of Central Europe Aircraft Technology Center, Budapest Ferihegy Airport, Hungary.
This manual contains the new chapter, chapter 7, "FAA Supplementary Procedures for a FAR Part 145 Repair Station" answering all the differences between JAR-145 and FAR Parts 43/145. The new joint manual replaces the former JAR-145 MOE and the FAR-145 Inspection Procedures Manual and with this reduces the "documentation nightmare" at the company holding a multiple authority approvals.
