CAM/MGA gear up for future growth

CAM Designs/MGA, the UK-based Automotive and Aerospace Design and Development Specialist, has announced a key new appointment and restructuring of its activities as the group gears up for expansion of its operations on an international basis.

Stepping in as Chairman of MGA Technology is Alan Garnett, who brings with him a wealth of expertise within the automotive and manufacturing industry including 12 years as Group Chief Executive of Tudor Webasto, the UK's leading sunroof manufacturer.

Working closely with CAM/MGA Group Chairman John Davidson, he will assist in streamlining operations following the completion of two recent acquisitions, while paving the way for further acquisitions and growth anticipated over the next few months.

Under the new structure, Alan Garnett, a former jet pilot, takes control of the MGA Technology division which includes the aerospace work and the jig and tool manufacture. He retains his position as Deputy Chairman of Webasto Holdings.
