Muirhead appointed AlliedSignal Warranty Repair Centre
Muirhead Avionics and Accessories, a member of Silvermines Group plc, has concluded a long-term trading agreement with AlliedSignal. Under the terms of the deal Muirhead becomes an Authorised Warranty Repair Centre for AlliedSignal's Bendix King range of avionic products and the two companies will work together in Europe (including the CIS), the Middle East and South Africa.
All products currently being overhauled and repaired by AlliedSignal at its own facility in Southall, near London Heathrow airport, will be transferred to Muirhead's operational care. Muirhead will also support AlliedSignal's loaner pool at Heathrow, which will continue to operate under AlliedSignal management.
