Weldex, the UK's only welding, joining, cutting and fabrication exhibition will draw on the success of last year's show by hosting a Health and Safety Pavilion.

Health and Safety issues are becoming increasingly important to the welding industry. This is borne out by the fact that 13 per cent of Weldex visitors and 5.1 per cent of MACH visitors stated an interest in health, safety and protective wear. Weldex 2006, therefore, promises to showcase a range of Health and Safety products in its pavilion, directly targeting the individuals and companies with purchasing authority for these products.

With overall visitor numbers remaining consistent from the 1999 and 2003 shows, Weldex, which will be co-located with MACH and Subcon in 2006 promises to be a greater success than ever before, with combined visitor numbers expected to reach 40,000.

For companies who wish to take advantage of the expected high visitor numbers, organisers highbury business are currently offering an early bird discount to exhibitors.

The first Weldex news is also being prepared by the organisers for this autumn. An ideal opportunity for free publicity, any news, application stories or company developments are welcomed by its editor.
