NACE visits Saudi Arabia factory

International Paint Saudi Arabia recently held an open day at its factory in Dammam for 18 engineers from the Saudi Arabian Chapter of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). Arranged by Ali Al Shoala, Area Manager for the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, and Alan Livingstone, Middle East Operations Manager, the open day was designed to develop relations between the two organisations.

“Building personal relationships is a very important aspect of doing business in the Middle East”, said Ali Shoala. “We were delighted to invite our delegates to see our facilities and hopefully their visit will be of mutual benefit to all”.

Subsequently, International were invited to conduct a presentation at an official meeting of the Chapter at which Mike Mitchell, International Protective Coatings Worldwide Technical Director, discussed various aspects of future coating technology.

Feedback from the visit has been extremely positive with the Saudi Arabian Chapter of NACE sending a letter of thanks to IP Saudi Arabia.
