Keywords: Hot-dip, Galvanizing, Awards, USA
The American Galvanizers Association is currently accepting applications for its 2004 Excellence in Hot-dip Galvanizing Awards. Presented annually, these awards recognize projects that utilize hot-dip galvanizing in an ideal, creative, innovative, or monumental fashion. This is a great way to spread the word to the specifying communities, as well as to receive free press and exposure!
- •
Winning projects will receive plaques and ten copies of their own four-color project brochure (a digital version of which will also be provided on CD for reprinting purposes).
- •
Winning projects will also be featured on the AGA Web site and mentioned/depicted during various seminars and editorials; non-winning projects may be publicized as well.
For each award presented, the galvanizer and all parties involved with the project will receive recognition.
- •
The nature of hot-dip galvanizing is collaborative, and the final project reflects the work of many people.
- •
All submissions are also considered for the 2004 Most Distinguished Project of the Year. This award is presented to the most outstanding hot-dip galvanized project of the year.
- •
Excellence award winners will be announced at the AGA Annual Conference, to be held on 20-24 March at the Hyatt Regency - La Jolla, California.
Entries may be added to the interactive galvanizing projects database that will be soon available on the new AGA Web site.
