Six new agents in Indentec overhaul

Keyword: Indentec

It is reported that in a major overhaul of its distributor network, UK hardness-testing specialist Indentec has appointed six new agents in Europe and Scandinavia.

The move follows a review of the agency structure by the Stourbridge company, which regularly sells 80 per cent of production overseas, much of it to Europe.

The new agents have been chosen for their proven expertise in materials testing and their active contacts with key user industries.

Following product training at Indentec's UK head office, exclusive franchises for the sale and after-care of Indentec hardness-testing machines and equipment have been awarded to Zwick Czech Republic, based in Prague and Brno, and to TEMA of Genoa, Italy. Both have already purchased top-of-the range machines to demonstrate to customers.

Similar sole territorial rights have been awarded to Zwick Unitest in Brussels, Belgium, EN Equipamentos in Porto, Portugal, and Zwick in Venlo, The Netherlands.

Indentec has also opened up a new territory in Denmark with the exclusive appointment of Brauner & Nybro of Ringsted.
