A new Anglo-German venture has been set up in the UK to meet the changing demands of industry and commerce for a full industrial cleaning and consultancy service.
Bilogik, a joint venture with CB Chemie, a German manufacturer of chemicals and associated products, identified the need for a new approach to cleaning problems in the UK.
Said Matt Walker of Bilogik: "We analysed the UK market and concluded that there is a need for a service which can start with a customer's basic cleaning requirement.
"This is then combined with a structural analysis of the material to be cleaned using the extensive range of 'Bio Chem' cleaners to determine the best product for the application.
"The approach is designed to eliminate a lot of the guesswork – or trial and error testing – that has been part of the cleaning industry for many years".
The Bio Chem range includes products for industrial cleaning, welding consumables, corrosion protection, retail and maintenance manufactured to both ISO 9000 and ISO 1400 standards.
In addition, the range includes pollution control machinery and industrial cleaning equipment and, together with its fully equipped material testing and metallurgical consultancy service, Bilogik also offers associated metallography, product finish, corrosion and mechanical testing as well as chemical, failure and problem analysis.
The range has been supplied for many years to established operators such as Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, the US Military, Deutsche Railways and ABB.
With the full use of Bio Chem products, Bilogik considers that it offers more than traditional chemical sales and distribution though strategic distribution partners are now being sought in the UK.
Through the Midlands-based operation, nationwide service is available and Matt Walker advises: "Any business with a cleaning, corrosion or product finish problem can put us to the test".
