Everbright Stainless, Infast's specialist stainless steel fastener distributor, has unveiled a new £0.5 million European distribution centre in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK (Plate 2).

The 950m2 depot, which features a fully computerised stock control system, is believed to represent one of the largest single stockholdings of stainless steel fasteners in the UK and ensures the company can continue to offer guarantee supplies of its entire product range.
In addition to an extensive range of standard fasteners, in sizes ranging from M1.6 to M36, Everbright also supplies all types of non-standard and special fasteners in a wide range of exotic and specialist materials.
The new distribution centre is connected via real time computerised links to a network of 17 Infast branches, enabling the company to guarantee a 24-hour delivery service throughout the UK, and 48 hours across Europe.
The new, purpose built centre includes state of the art quality inspection facilities to ensure that all products, whether supplied from within Infast or sourced outside the company, are approved to the appropriate international quality standards before despatch.
