Parker appoints ultra-high purity specialist for Europe

Keyword Parker Hannifin

Parker Hannifin has appointed Graham Johnson as European product marketing manager for the company's range of precision tube fittings, valves and components for ultra high purity (UHP) industries such as semiconductor, bio-pharm and chemical processing. This newly-created position reinforces the company's investment in a Europe-wide technical support structure, following the integration of the Ewal and Veriflo product ranges with the established Vacuseal, Minibuttweld and Partek brands.

"We now offer the most complete package of components for UHP fluid delivery systems in the world", says Graham. "With a dedicated sales and support team in place, we can now focus on specific areas such as providing active control over stocks of these components, with the aim of providing premier service to customers throughout Europe."

To this end, Graham will work closely with customers in processing and tool equipment companies, and with Parker's network of specialist UHP technical support bureaux in Belgium, France, Germany and the UK.

Graham brings extensive experience of precision flow control systems to this role, having spent the previous four years supervising Parker's European UHP business unit. Prior to this, he worked as an engineer for Parker, in both R&D and manufacturing roles. He joined Parker in 1987 as a graduate, with a degree in Plant Engineering from Trent Polytechnic.
