Lancashire-based galvanizers, Pillar Wedge Ltd, have appointed Philip Brookes as commercial manager.
He will be responsible for customer liaison, sales and marketing, working from the company's headquarters and plant, in Green Lane, Heywood, where hundreds of tonnes of metal are treated each week, using the hot-dip process.
Philip was previously manager of Marina Ropes Ltd, textile manufacturer, Heywood. He holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Leeds University.
