Fundamentals of corrosion course: a two-day practical course

Keywords Training, Institute of Corrosion

This two-day course has been designed as a stand-alone engineering module or forms an integral part of a qualification for the new "TechICorr" grade of professional membership of the Institute of Corrosion.

It has been developed and introduced to provide technically skilled personnel with formal training in basic corrosion theory and practice. Ideally suited for experienced and certified Cathodic Protection or Painting Inspectors, this course may also be relevant to recent graduates in other disciplines or established engineers or architects wishing to increase their knowledge of corrosion engineering.

The two-day course is self-contained and prepares candidates for a short (one hour) compulsory examination, which is taken with the training activities.

Course fees are £390 plus VAT, plus £24 for the course textbook. For further information contact the Institute of Corrosion. Tel: +44 (0) 1525 851771; E-mail: admin@icorr.demon.co.uk
