Jotun relocates to Flixborough

Keywords Jotun, Growth, Relocation, Coatings

Bob Mallen, manager of the Jotun Decorative Coatings Division in the UK, informs us that in order to optimise operations as business continues to expand, the Decorative Division is to close its Milton Keynes offices and warehouse and relocate to the Jotun-Henry Clark complex in Flixborough, North Lincolnshire.

The Flixborough site houses a 20-million litre/year manufacturing plant for Jotun marine and protective coatings, together with a distribution centre for the UK, the Irish Republic, and both Western and Eastern Europe. Following a recent major extension of its warehousing and handling facilities, the Flixborough complex provides an excellent opportunity for the integration and enhancement of Jotun-Henry Clark's services to its customers. The Decorative Division's move to Flixborough is part of that enhancement.

Also, as part of this latest development, Jotun will be further strengthening its distribution network, an important feature of which is the provision of Jotun multi-colour mixing machines, nationwide, to enable customers to purchase a wide range of products in most BS, RAL and NCS colours.
