High grade protection
High grade protection
The latest range of stainless steel pressure relief valves from BiS Valves has been designed to operate in rugged manufacturing environments across a wide range of industries.
Including both high and low pressure models, the new valves are designed for use in systems where damage can occur from over-pressurisation or over-loading, caused by system blockage, misuse or thermal expansion.
High grade protection in rugged hostile environments worldwide
The RL high pressure relief valve is available in 1Ž4, 3Ž8 and 1Ž2in. sizes and capable of operating at pressures of up to 1,000 BARG, while a ported version offers either BSP (parallel) or NPT (taper) threaded inlet connections with cartridge and manifold mounted types also available.
Working temperature range is from 20°C to +80°C and pressure range 1K-6K psi. Leak tight with up to 90 per cent of "set pressure" applied, repeatability is ±5 per cent of "set pressure".
The RLCM cartridge mounted high pressure relief valve repeats many of the same features as the RL, but has six outlet vents to atmosphere and operates in a temperature range of 20°C to +80°C with a pressure range of 1K-6K psi.
Type S low pressure relief valves are available in 1Ž4, 3Ž8, 1Ž2, 3Ž4 and 1in. sizes and capable of operating at pressures of up to 40 BARG. The 1in. model can operate up to an impressive 18 BARG.
Available with either NPT (taper) or BSP (parallel) threaded inlet connections, there are six outlet vents to atmosphere and the valve is fully adjustable down to zero.
Working temperatures range from 20°C to +160°C, with a maximum pressure of 600 psi and a minimum pressure of 10psi. The 1in. model has a maximum pressure of 260psi. The valve is bubble tight with up to 90 per cent of set pressure applied and repeatability is ±3 per cent of "set pressure".
TS low pressure relief valves have many of the features found on the S type but also include a threaded outlet port and can operate in a temperature band of 20°C to +120°C.
Used across a wide range of applications in oil and gas exploration and production, chemical and process engineering, civil engineering, mining, aerospace and defence industries, BiS valves can also be produced in more exotic materials including titanium, monel, hastelloy and inconel.
Established for over 25 years, BiS Valves supplies pressure control equipment to a wide range of industries in the UK, Europe and overseas and offers a full design and manufacturing capability using the latest CAD and CNC equipment.
