This is the website of The American Society for Quality (ASQ) which claims it's “the world's leading authority on quality”. The ASQ Six Sigma Forum can be found at www.asq.org/perl/index.pl?g=sixsigma. The forum offers opportunities to learn from other Six Sigma professionals and share knowledge and solutions. It is possible to read current articles although some are only available to members of the ASQ. There are discussion forums for Six Sigma users and a useful extensive glossary of terms which should prove useful for all. Although it is a very much American based website this would be an ideal for anyone to visit to gain knowledge about Six Sigma.

www.isssp.com/

This is the website of the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals (ISSSP) and claims it is “the only professional membership society dedicated to Six Sigma”. The iSixSigma Magazine is the official magazine of ISSSP. Written for business professionals, iSixSigma Magazine offers “a breadth of content to address all facets of Six Sigma deployments and to engage readers at all experience levels”. This site contains information about the ISSSP's activities and conferences easily viewed from the calendar section. Papers from conferences and other publications are available to download if you are a member. A useful American based site to visit.

www.isixsigma.com/

This website is packed full of advertising and information, if you can manage to wade through the adverts there is a wealth of information contained within it. The New to Six Sigma – A Six Sigma Guide for Both Novice and Experienced Quality Practitioners should prove popular with people wanting an introduction to this method. There are interesting forums, blogs and directories of Six Sigma recent articles, certifications/awards, consultants, methodologies, news & events, organizations. There are facilities look at Six Sigma resources for European companies as well as US companies.

This must be one of the biggest sites on the web and it should be a definite one to visit.
