RMT Mechatronics Limited are the exclusive UK distributors of Kitamura Mycenter CNC Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centres, Murata-Muratec CNC turning centres, Style “teach in” lathes, and Eguro high precision CNC lathes.

They offer a range of production solutions to meet demanding requirements, and aim to supply all of their customers with cutting edge technology, which reduces cycle times, machine setting times and increases machine reliability.

This is a simple site that provides some case studies, news and links to other sites.

http://mrc.newport.ac.ukMechatronics Research Centre

Established in 1994, the mechatronics research centre (MRC) at the University of Wales College, Newport, provides a focus for research activity in mechatronics. This is built upon an area where the School of Computing and Engineering had a reputation for delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and specialist training courses for industry. Their research interests include: intelligent systems, guidance and control, fault detection, quality systems, strategic information technology and image and signal processing.

Although this site is quite simple it contains plenty of information about the research group and includes an excellent publications section.

The UNESCO University Chairs are part of a program for the promotion of international academic intellectual cooperation. They aim to promote the advancement of science and the transfer of knowledge by facilitating access worldwide to the expertise of outstanding specialists in key disciplines.

The UNESCO chair on mechatronics at Bogazici University, Turkey, was approved in 1993. The objectives of this initiative are to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation activities in the field of mechatronics. It aims to evolve as a centre of excellence in the field of mechatronics for training and development of high-level human resources at regional levels.

This is another simple but informative site, providing publications and a list of relevant conferences.
