Teleservice included as standard equipment with all Cincinnati extrusion lines.

A video or a photo may be the key to success in solving problems that occur in products or machine components during extrusion. Each extrusion line delivered by Cincinnati Extrusion GmbH, Vienna comes with the EXcPRO-NT control unit and the standard facility for remote diagnostics integrated in the machine. The machine manufacturer now offers the additional option of a video interface which can process the signals of a video camera or digital camera (see Plate 6).

In most cases, a product or machine defect means production standstill, causing loss of time and money to the processor. In any such case the machine manufacturer must react with utmost speed. Teleservice via Internet, as offered by Cincinnati, is the ideal tool for this purpose. At need, it places a complete team of Cincinnati engineers at the customer’s disposal, connecting him without delay to the most competent specialist in each particular area.

Plate 6 “Teleservice via Internet is now offered by Cincinnati”

Any situation can be more easily and precisely described with the help of a video or picture than by mere words. Therefore, Cincinnati now offers its control unit with the additional option of a video interface. If, for example, a customer wishes to improve the quality of his products, pictures taken with a digital or video camera can thus be transmitted “LIVE” to the Cincinnati specialist team together with the production data. By means of the visualised information supplied with pictures, misunderstandings are eliminated and optimal solutions will be reached more quickly.
