First stopper cylinder with AS-i

Kuhnke's networkable stopper cylinder for conveyor systems is a fully configurable modular system for the control of material flows in any customer's application (Plate 5).

Configuration examples include designs with inductive proximity switches installed on one or both sides for the detection of workpiece carriers or the cylinder stroke. Other designs may have single-action or double-action cylinders with or without a shock absorber.

Kuhnke is the first manufacturer to supply this stopper cylinder with an integrated field bus interface. This all-in-one solution only requires the connection of the compressed air supply and the AS-i cable.
