The automated system has isolated section of contact network (measurement section) where the tested trolley bus is positioned. Multipoint current collector is connected to first input of unit measuring leak current while second input is linked to output of unit of measurement voltage contacts trolley bus frame. First output of unit measuring leak current is connected to unit registering leak current of each trolley bus. Second output of unit measuring leak current is connected to unit of light and sound signalization, its third output is linked to first input of unit of commutation voltage of contact network and measurement voltage. Second output of unit of measurement voltage is connected to input of unit testing measurement voltage and third output of same unit is coupled to second input of unit of commutation voltage of contact network having direct and feedback coupling with contact network and with unit testing insulation of measurement section to frame. The effect is full automation of process of measurement of leak current to trolley bus frame, provision for enhanced electrical safety of personnel and protection of system against high-level leak currents, and reliable test of operation of all units of system.
