Open bus network gains international recognition
AS-Interface (UK) Chairman Geoff Hodgkinson has announced the acceptance of AS-Interface as an international standard. Ratified by the Bureau Technique, EN 50 295 recognises AS-Interface as a vendor-independent bus network that is open to all interested manufacturers.
"The acceptance of AS-Interface as an international standard signals a much wider acceptance of the system and its technology. It also provides AS-Interface users added security for their investments, and should encourage other manufacturers to develop AS-Interface products", said Hodgkinson.
