http://www.autotronix.com/Autotronix, Inc.
Autotronix specialises in the design and manufacture of automatic assembly machinery and automated tooling systems. This includes the welding of plastic parts, staking, inspection, metal stamping, forming, robotics, gluing, filling, screw driving and plant assembly lines. A simple site, with a limited amount of information available.
http://www.acro.com/Acro Automation Systems Inc.
Acro Automation Systems Inc. specialises in solving high-speed manufacturing problems and has designed and built assembly systems for automotive, appliance, battery consumer products, electric motor, electronics, food processing, medical nuclear and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Solutions can also be provided for resistance, arc and laser welding projects, along with automated packaging and conversion projects.
This Web site is well laid out, and relatively compact. Information about career opportunities is available, two video clips (a welding system and an assembly system), both in QuickTime format, and a number of case studies can all be downloaded.
http://www.micro-tech-auto.com/Micro-Tech Automotive Industries
Micro-Tech supplies one of the most comprehensive lines of US and international remanufactured electronics available, along with performing custom diagnosis and repairs. There is quite a bit to explore on this site, a technical help page (TechTips), automotive message boards, and much more all with a reasonable download time too.
http://www.highly.com/Highly Electric Co.
Based in Taiwan, the Highly Electric Co. Ltd was established in 1974 and is a family business. This Web site gives both product and company information and is nicely laid out, but rather simple. The Highly group produces proximity, photo-light, micro, limit, rocker and toggle switches. These are found in low current consumer products, the automatic control industry and machinery industry.
http://www.inmoco.com/Intelligent Motion Control
A manufacturer of servo systems, and the UK representative for the inland division of Kollmorgen Ireland, INMOCO was established in 1987. Position controllers, stepper motors and controllers, linear motors, sensors, electronic actuators, compact servo amplifiers and gearheads, are all covered in the wide product range. When looking at this site, there is something missing, which gives it a slightly unfinished feel. The poor use of images makes downloading quite a slow process, with the most noticeable thing about this Web site being the vivid backdrop which eventually appears on entry. It is worth visiting just to see this alone.
