Editorial team changes

It is with regret that I have to announce that my friend and Co-editor of The TQM Journal for the last three years, Professor Stanislav Karapetrovic of the University of Alberta, Canada, is stepping down from his role due to pressures of work at the university and the International Organisation for Standardisation. On behalf of The TQM Journal team at Emerald Publishing, I would like to thank Stanislav for his contribution to maintaining the high standards of papers published by the journal in the last three years which has help us maintain and, in some cases, improve our national ranking in many countries and so enhance the journal’s international reputation. Fortunately, Stanislav has agreed to stay on as a member of the journal’s editorial advisory board (EAB).

Also leaving the journal after years of service is our Editorial Assistant, Neil Webster who retired at the end of 2018. Neil has been my Assistant since I took over the role of Editor in 2004 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his years of service and for all his help in making the journal what it is today and I wish him a long and happy retirement. I hope to get a replacement for Neil in the very near future.

Finally, it is with regret that we have to say goodbye and thanks to Professor Dana Johnson of Michigan Technological University, USA, who has resigned her position on the EAB due to retirement from academic life. We wish her a long and happy retirement.

As to myself, I will continue as sole Editor for the immediate future.
