The 2011 Recipient of the Booz & Co./Strategy+Business Eminent Scholar in International Management Award was Professor Jagdish N. Bhagwati of Columbia University. Professor Bhagwati was honoured by this Award by the International Management Division of the Academy of Management at its annual conference in San Antonio, TX. His acceptance speech outlines the role of multinational corporations in economic development. The speech is followed by the commentaries of Ted London of the University of Michigan and Tarun Khanna of Harvard University.
