Welcome to the second issue of the 2014 calendar year, Volume 37, Issue 2 of Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies & Management. This issue focusses on a number of topics relevant to policing that should be of interest to you including articles on risk assessment and risk management, civilians in policing, police misconduct, crime mapping, views toward women in policing, police performance, less than lethal force policy, transformational leadership, use of cctv, police response to the mentally ill, police behavior in life-threatening situations, and leadership skills among special operations’ team members. Additionally, you will notice a nice mix of international research from countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, and Russia.
