Judiciary will be key force in Nepali politics

Significance

Earlier this month, it nullified the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), which had split into pro- and anti-Oli blocs in the wake of the premier’s controversial move. Parliament has resumed, but it is unclear whether Oli retains the support of a majority of MPs.
