Changing times – High Court of Australia library during COVID-19

The purpose of this study is to provide information and opinion on how the library dealt with this period and some further discussion on longer term impacts.


Observations/commentary covering the operation of the High Court of Australia Library and court/law libraries more generally during the COVID-19 pandemic.


The success of remote working will likely see this become more normalised.


This article is basically commentary and personal observation rather than original research.



This paper in this Special Issue was specifically invited because of the expertise of the author to respond to the issues raised in the Editorial at The paper is part of the Issue of the Worst Case Scenarios and the Virus. Each paper has been formally reviewed, and the author has responded to the comments in the customary manner.
