Abstract

Purpose

This study aims to explain the possible uses of 5G services in library as users with 5G never would come to library for accessing internet.

Design/methodology/approach

This paper is descriptive in nature used secondary data of rant-cell to explain the evolution and research by intent.

Findings

To cope with developments in the academic fields, it advocates that LIS professionals adopt and integrate their services with the latest techs for better fruitful next-generation clients. The finding advocates the adoption of 5G enables services in future libraries. The future of 5G seems bright to all divyanga by contactless services.

Originality/value

To the best of the author’s knowledge, no attempt was made to explain the uses of 5G services in the context of libraries. This paper peeps into possible anticipated uses of 5G services in libraries at global level.
