Dedication

This issue is dedicated to the loving memory of Dr Peter Banister. He had a long-standing career in forensic psychology, including being Society President of the British Psychological Society. He was a great supporter and advocate for applied psychological research and his seminal text on qualitative methods in psychology (with Burman, Parker, Taylor and Tindall) has been a go-to text for many researchers in the field for the past two decades.

As editors of the journal we will remember him fondly as a valuable member of the board who would always assist whenever needed, and was fair and compassionate in his work. He worked with us for 11 years, and we feel lucky to have worked so closely with such a lovely soul. He will be sadly missed.
