The 2017 volume (i.e. 66) is the last under the present editorial team. If arrangements come to fruition as planned, then a new editorial team will be taking over for the next volume in 2018. This is not yet the time for farewells, or even evaluations of the contribution we have made as editors to the progress of the journal (assuming that we have!), since there are at least a further eight issues to go, including this one. However, it is worthwhile just alerting you, our readers, to the forthcoming editorial handover and that, presumably, the new team will be looking to introduce some changes.

A recent change that you might want to take note of is the entry of the IJPPM into the Thomson Reuters’ Emerging Sources Citation Index. This index includes journals that are “high-quality, peer-reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields” (http://wokinfo.com/media/pdf/S024651_Flyer.pdf).
