Comparing performance of service points in public libraries
Abstract
The paper examines the use that can be made of the statistics available to a very large English public library service. It describes a methodology that will identify benchmarks and which could be used to extend examples of best practice available to the authority itself. Extensions of this methodology could be applied to other public library services.
