Employees’ experience of people management
Abstract
Submits that managers have a poor understanding of how employees react to various methods of managing human capital. Reckons that the belief that people management is strategic focuses attention on the views of senior management, neglecting the actual employee experience. Concludes that several people management initiatives promote actually achieving successful linkage between people management and strategy — though this was less commonly achieved.
