Abstract
Examines the benefits of function key macros for library services in general and interlibrary loan in particular. Discusses function key editors, defining a function key, request stacking, using a macro to avoid guest passwords, and macros for order routines. Concludes that the macro philosophy is primarily to reduce the number of keystrokes needed to perform any particular task.
