Abstract
Examines the way in which the ADONIS automated document delivery system was implemented at the British Library Supply Centre (BLDSC). Looks at the problems incurred during integration attempts; outlines a costing model devised to assess the costs of photocopying as opposed to the ADONIS method. Stresses the importance of international co‐operation in the success of any such trial.
