Abstract

In the 1980s and early 1990s managements function became a focal point for debate in business circles. Discusses the computer revolution and how it has only slowly entered the boardroom. The management of information is now very important to organizations and can help to greatly improve performance. The judgement of management in evaluating ways of working can lend to improved managerial and organizational performance.
