Abstract

Highlights some practical issues and applications of electronic mail (e‐mail). Lists some of the main features available to e‐mail users. Details the groups and lists function, typically used to send a mail item to a number of people. Describes facsimile (FAX) gateways. Reviews the administration of e‐mail and how to select an appropriate e‐mail package.
