MTM Application in Electro‐mechanical Assembly

Abstract

Examines the development of a new MTM application for a company supplying products to the medical industry, prompted by moving to a new site. Discusses measurement procedure, dispute procedure, recording techniques, MTM system choice, element coding, and the computer application used. Concludes that the constraints on the system has entailed building up groups of data which are capable of covering a wide range of work.
