The Food Safety Act: Implications for the Environmental Health Officer

Abstract

The Act is examined from the perspective of environmental health; considering some of the difficulties facing financially strained local authorities, with competing demands for finance to improve housing for example. Despite the difficulties the public has every right to expect the very highest levels of protection.
