Training the Training Consultant: A Joint BP/LEA Programme

Abstract

The BP company, having been through a period of change, and received their training procedures in consequence, collaborated with a group of LEAs with a view to training key LEA personnel in training consultancy skills. Initial research has confirmed the need for intensive management training for such as school headteachers and the value of the training expertise and experience of management development available in the private sector.
