Developing People and Organisations in the Third World
Abstract
Focuses on India as an example of Asia in general to emphasise the importance of the public sector in establishing the infrastructure necessary to develop the Third World. Argues that the Third World cannot follow Western or other models to solve its problems. Due to the unique challenges facing Third World managers, they must be pragmatic, dynamic and decisive to be successful.
