GETTING RESULTS: THE TRAINER’S SKILLS
Abstract
Reviews essential skills needed by trainers in the face of recent change including technical, people and intervention/influencing skills. Outlines models for change while investigating their implications for training. Concludes that management collaboration and involvement are essential for training, and that a trainer can only be effective if he or she possesses those skills already mentioned and can combine these with providing feedback.
