Abstract

The study will also delve into the significance of responsible travel by the visitors and community participation in maintaining the sustainability of the tourism destinations. Through an in-depth exploration of sustainable tourism models and practices from a global perspective, this paper sheds light on the mechanisms that contribute to the synergy between economic advancement and ecological integrity. The implications of these findings extend to policymakers, industry stakeholders and local communities, offering a roadmap for designing and implementing sustainable tourism practices that contribute to a more equitable and sustainable global future.
