About the Contributors

Zafer Adalı is a Lecturer of Macroeconomics at Artvin Çoruh University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Artvin, Turkey. Mr Adalı is completing his PhD in Karadeniz Technical University in Macroeconomic Policies.

Murat Al is a Mechanical Engineer and he received his MBA from Bahcesehir University. He has been working at IGDAS (Istanbul Gas Distribution Industry and Trade Incorporated Company) for 7 years. He is currently the Besiktas District Manager and leads a team of 20 people.

Yunus Doğaç Arık is a fourth-year Business Administration student in Galatasaray University. His research interests are financial market, volatility, risk management, and financial instruments.

Halim Baş is an Assistant Professor of Employment Policies at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Istanbul, Turkey. Dr Baş completed his PHD in the subject of Youth Unemployment from Istanbul University.

Şeyma Bozkaya is a PhD student in the program of Economics, at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. She has a BS in Economics from Erciyes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 2010. She completed her master’s degree at Niğde Ömer Halis Demir University.

Çağatay Çağlayan is a fourth-year Economics and Finance student at Istanbul Medipol University. He is also a student of the Health Management department at Istanbul Medipol University. His research interests are sustainable energy economics, renewable energy, and nuclear energy.

Mir Sayed Shah Danish is an Associate Professor at the University of the Ryukyus, Japan. He is an author of many scientific publications and conference papers indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science and an author of several scientific monographs. He has extensive research work addressing the challenges in the Field of Econometric Modeling, Climate Policy and Climate Change, and Energy.

Ramesh Chandra Das, PhD, is presently an Associate Professor of Economics at Vidyasagar University, India, with more than 20 years of teaching and research in different areas of Economics. Dr Das has several publications in internationally well-reputed journals and book publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, Emerald, and IGI Global.

Hasan Dinçer is a Professor of Finance at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Istanbul, Turkey. Dr Dincer has BAs in Financial Markets and Investment Management from Marmara University. He received his PhD in Finance and Banking by evaluating the new product development process in the banking industry.

Mahmut Sami Duran is a Lecturer of economics departmant at Selcuk University, graduated from the PhD Program of Economics, Necmettin Erbakan University, in 2020. His research interests include microeconomy, macroeconomy, energy economy, time series econometrics, and panel econometrics.

İrfan Ersin is a Lecturer of Macroeconomics at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Istanbul, Turkey. Mr Ersin is making PhD in İstanbul Medeniyet University with the subject of monetary transmission channels.

Melik Ertuğrul is the Assistant Professor at Galatasaray University, Istanbul. His professional experience is focused in credit evaluation and financial analysis, and he conducts research in accounting quality and corporate finance.

Serkan Eti is a Lecturer of Statistics at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Istanbul, Turkey. Mr Eti is pursuing his PhD in Marmara University on the subject of quantitative methods.

Fe Amor Parel Gudmundsson is an Assistant Professor in University of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland. Her research areas are financial management, central banking, financial economics, and energy economics.

Anton Lisin is an Assistant Professor in Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia. His research interests are energy economics, foreign policy, and financial economics.

Alexey Mikhaylov, PhD, is a Deputy Director of Monetary Relations Research Center (2019) and Head of Laboratory of Financial Markets Department (2017) in Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Aloka Nayak is presently an MPhil level research scholar at the Department of Economics, Vidyasagar University, India. Her research interests lie in macroeconomics and development economics.

Tomonobu Senjyu is the Head of Laboratory in University of the Ryukyus, Japan. He is an author of more than 100 scientific publications and conference papers indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. He has extensive research work addressing challenging in the Field of Engineering, Econometric Modeling, Climate Policy and Climate Change, and Energy.

Zaffar Ahmed Shaikh is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Lyari, Karachi, Pakistan. His research areas lie in energy investment and financial economics.

Muhammad Safdar Sial is a Professor in the Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Pakistan. His research areas are accounting, sustainability, earning management, and boardroom gender diversity.

Mafura Uandykova is a Professor in Narxoz University, Republic of Kazakhstan. Her research interests are cryptocurrency open innovation payment system, financial management, energy investment, and central banking policies.

Gülsüm Sena Uluer is a Business Administration student in Istanbul Medipol University. Her research interests are sustainable energy economics and project finance, electricity, renewable energy, and nuclear energy.

Pelin Vardarlıer is an Associate Professor in Management and Strategy at Istanbul Medipol University in Istanbul (Turkey). She received a PhD in Business Administration at Beykent University, Turkey. She has worked in managerial and management positions in total quality and human resources departments in various sectors for more than 10 years.

Serhat Yüksel is an Associate Professor of Finance in İstanbul Medipol University. Dr Yüksel has a BS in Business Administration (in English) from Yeditepe University (2006) with full scholarship. He got his master’s degree from the economics in Boğaziçi University (2008). He also has a PhD in Banking from Marmara University (2015).
