Colette A. Alla was National Administrator in the DDR Section of the United Nations Operations in Ivory Coast. She holds both bachelor and master degrees in psychology from the Université Félix Houphouet Boigny of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Social Psychology at the Université Félix Houphouet Boigny of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Kwaku Appiah-Adu is Professor of Strategy and Dean at Central University Business School, Accra. He holds a Ph.D. from the Middlesex University, London. He has written several books and over 100 published articles. His research interests are in the areas of organisational strategy, business performance, and national development in the oil and gas industries.

Constant D. Beugré is Professor of Management at Delaware State University where he teaches courses in organizational behavior and strategic management, and organizational leadership. He earned a Ph.D. in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, School of Management and Technology and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Université Paris X-Nanterre.

Christopher Boachie is Lecturer at Central University Business School, Accra, and a Chartered Accountant (ACCA). He is currently reading his Ph.D. at the Open University of Malaysia. He has several publications in the fields of banking and finance literature. His research interests focus on the application of accountancy and finance theory and financing of international trade and risk management.

Craig Churchill has more than two decades of microfinance experience in both developed and developing countries. In his current position as the chief of the ILO’s Social Finance Programme, he focuses on the potential of financial services and policies to achieve social objectives. Craig has a BA from Williams College and an MA from Clark University, both in Massachusetts.

Daniela Costa is a writer and an entrepreneur who created the brand “Biographies by Order.” She has a BA in Portuguese Linguistics from the University of Minho, and a Master in Development from ISCTE. In 2014, she published a book titled “Dancing in the Rain” which compiled several biographies related to social entrepreneurship.

Artur Kochinyan is a senior manager of research and analytics at a financial services company. Artur has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Yerevan State University as well as Dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from University of Colorado in Denver.

Alice Merry is based in Lima, Peru, and works with insurance providers around the globe to test and analyze innovative solutions in microinsurance. She has six years of insurance and microinsurance experience. Before joining the ILO, Alice worked at Lloyd’s of London and MicroEnsure, focusing on microinsurance, international operations, and communication. Alice has a MA in Classics from Cambridge University, an Executive Masters in Development Policy and Practice from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, as well as a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Dana T. Redford is Founder and President of the Policy Experimentation & Evaluation Platform (formerly Portugal Entrepreneurship Education Platform) and has taught at UC-Berkeley and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He is an internationally recognized expert on entrepreneurship and public policy. He has worked with the US Department of Commerce, the European Commission, the OECD, the UN, and various European and African governments.

Vrajlal Sapovadia is Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship and Dean of the School of Business & Entrepreneurship of American University in Nigeria, Yola. He received his Ph.D. from Saurashtra University, India. He worked as Lead Facilitator with World Bank’s Public Finance program. He has published widely in Finance, Management Accounting, Governance, Cooperatives, and Entrepreneurship.

Grietjie Verhoef is Professor of Business and Economic History at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. She received her Ph.D. in Banking History from the Rand Afrikaans University. She is the Past President of the International Economic history Association. She has published widely on banking, business, and entrepreneurship in South Africa, the history of business and entrepreneurship in Africa as well as insurance history of Africa.

Christian Wolf is Researcher at the Policy Experimentation & Evaluation Platform (formerly Portugal Entrepreneurship Education Platform) and a Ph.D. scholar at ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute. His research interests are in entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

David B. Zoogah is Professor of Management at the Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Management (Human Resources and Organizational Behavior) from Ohio State University. Dr. Zoogah is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Africa Academy of Management. He has published widely in the field of Management.
