Executive Coaching and its Role in Effective Leadership Development

Abstract

Executive coaching has a substantial role to play in the development of leadership in the public sector. It has been long espoused by the private sector, for this and for other uses. It is becoming used increasingly in the public sector. This article sets out how coaching benefits leadership development and gives examples illustrating the points.
