Abstract

The following poem was read at a World Mental Health Week event in Cambridge. Bill suffers from schizophrenia. He is frequently confused, often in comprehensible, and occasionally violent. Severely ulcerated legs make moving around painful. Two things bring purpose and meaning to his life: his vegetable garden and his God.
